Objective: British Airways was looking to create brand awareness for their service from Sydney to London and their connections from London onto the UK and Europe.
Strategy: 2GB's Chris Smith broadcast for 2 days from London before flying onto Ireland all thanks to British Airways. BA received 'in-show' brand credits from Chris, a schedule of 15 sec and 30 sec recorded commercials. Chris devoted airtime to promote the UK as a destination and British Airways as a great way to fly.
Outcome: British Airways was able to lift its profile and bring the brand to life by sponsoring travel content specifically tailored for them and their travel partners.
